Back in July, Dan and I headed out on a little trip to the Lake District. It's a place I've always meant to go, but often hotels and rented accommodation was painfully overpriced. So we decided to collect Dan's tent from storage and go camping!
The Lake District is hard to put into words, and even harder to photograph. It is just sublime. The hills, the views, everywhere you turn could easily be on a postcard. We took long walks and really got to know some of the little towns that we stayed near.
For me, the Lake District is how you imagine England to be. Just gorgeous and green; I'm gushing I know but if you want an English holiday, you need to go here. Dan and I would head back in a heartbeat. But for now, just enjoy some very lovely photos, with a proper camping post incoming.
