As I mentioned in my last post, I've never actually been camping before. So to say it was a learning curve is probably an understatement, but I loved it nonetheless. Camping is such a different vibe to a "normal" holiday. You get used to living out of the car and using a shared bathroom. Surprisingly, this didn't bother me in the slightest. Campers were mostly really friendly, and also had excellent dogs. We ate out, a lot, which is something I want to change for next time as I want to have better breakfast, belvita soft bakes you were okay.
Dan also put his two cents in. After only ever using this tent for camping at festivals, he was amazed at how good a night sleep we got. Guys, I was out like a light. We took our pillows and bedding, but also got this mattress from Vango, which self-inflates too. Not spon in any way, just a hell of a good nights sleep!
Did anything else surprise you about camping?
